Our take

The Endorphin Speed 6 is a neutral performance-road option for days when pace matters. Its PWRRUN PBX cushioning, nylon plate and SPEEDROLL geometry are intended to support quicker turnover in workouts and faster long runs. For everyday easy miles or runners who dislike a plated feel, compare it with a conventional daily trainer.

Fit before category

Fit & feel

Evaluate midfoot and heel security, room at the toes, and how the plate and rolling geometry feel at both easy and faster efforts. A performance fit should be secure without creating pressure; the plated platform is a preference to assess, not a substitute for individualized fit. This is a neutral shoe, not a structured-stability model. For this women's listing, confirm the specific size and width choices actually offered in the selector.

We fit shoes against your foot shape, width, comfort, movement and intended use—not just a label like “neutral” or “stability.”

Use the shoe somewhere real

Where we'd run or walk it

Instead of stopping at “road” or “trail,” these are real local places that make this shoe's use case easier to understand.

Binghamton / Johnson City

Binghamton West Side

Road + sidewalk · rolling neighborhood

Good for: Daily miles · walking · easy and steady runs

The West Side's sidewalks and neighborhood streets around Recreation Park and Riverside Drive are the kind of repeatable everyday miles where a dependable road trainer makes sense.

Shoe choice: Road and sidewalk miles are a natural fit for comfortable road footwear; for rooty trails nearby, switch to dedicated trail shoes.

Corning / Finger Lakes

Downtown Corning, Houghton & Denison

Sidewalks + city streets + park paths

Good for: Everyday road miles · walking · 3–8+ miles

Corning's neighborhood grid makes a practical everyday road-running zone: easy to shorten, extend or connect through parks without needing a prescribed course.

Shoe choice: Road shoes suit the streets, sidewalks and smooth paths in this neighborhood; technical wooded routes need trail-specific grip.

Hudson Valley / Middletown

Heritage Trail

Asphalt + limestone rail trail · mostly flat

Good for: Long runs · walking · marathon mileage

The Heritage Trail is built for predictable, repeatable road-style mileage without needing to plan a complicated route. That makes it a natural place for an everyday support trainer.

Shoe choice: A cushioned road trainer works well on the smoother paved and compacted stretches; choose trail footwear if you move onto rougher single-track.

Watertown / North Country

Black River Trail

Paved rail trail · flat / gentle grade

Saucony · Women's Neutral Performance Footwear

Saucony | Endorphin Speed 6 | Women's

The Saucony Endorphin Speed 6 is built for your faster days. With PWRRUN PBX cushioning, a redesigned nylon plate and SPEEDROLL geometry, this neutral road shoe is designed for tempos, controlled intervals, fast long runs and road-race efforts. It's a performance option to compare against your daily trainer, not a mandatory replacement for one.

Our Take

For neutral runners who enjoy a shoe with a pronounced rolling feel when pace rises, the Speed 6 belongs on the try-on list. Its main strength is the combination of a fast-training purpose and a nylon-plated design. For easy walking, recovery miles or runners who dislike plated geometry, compare a conventional daily trainer.

Fit & Feel

Our First Look. Not yet staff tested. The current women's listing contains Women's B-Regular, White/Aureate. Check the exact size selection above. The breathable mesh upper and quick transition through the forefoot suit its performance intent, but a secure feel must not come at the cost of toe pressure. Independent testers described different experiences with stiffness and toe fit. Start with your normal running size, check length and pressure around the forefoot, then move at easy and quicker paces.

This is a neutral shoe, not a structured-stability model. A nylon plate is not necessarily soft in motion.

Redesigned nylon plate: a changed shape intended for a faster, smoother transition. SPEEDROLL: updated rolling geometry. The shoe remains designed for road-based faster training and racing.
