Confluence Running began in Binghamton in 2013 with a simple idea: good specialty retail should make complicated choices easier. Today our work spans running and walking footwear, triathlon, fashion and outdoor retail, races, group runs, education, and community connection across New York.

The person comes before the product.
We start by listening. A footwear fitting can include conversation, measurement, fit assessment, and gait or movement observation when useful. We compare options and explain the practical differences so the customer can make an informed decision. We do not believe there is one universal “best” shoe, and we do not treat the most expensive option as automatically better.
Our staff can provide education around fit, comfort, movement, training, and injury-prevention concepts, while staying inside the appropriate boundary: footwear fitting and gait observation are not medical diagnosis or treatment. When a concern belongs with a clinician, we say so.
