Speed 5 or Speed 6?

Both are nylon-plated fast-training shoes. The Speed 6 changes the midsole to PWRRUN PBX, redesigns the plate and adds 2 mm of cushioning while keeping an 8 mm drop. The previous Speed 5 is still listed in selected sizes. Compare their fit instead of assuming newer is better for every runner.

Try one with local fitting help

Bring your recent shoes, preferred training pace and the type of workout you need a shoe to handle. Our teams will help you compare the hold around your heel, room through the forefoot and the way the rocker feels in motion. Our published Speed 6 descriptions currently use an Our First Look label until a named employee documents actual wear testing.
