Our take

We would start with the Echelon 11 when room and a steady platform matter more than a close, race-shoe fit. Its straight-lasted shape gives you space to compare an orthotic or a fuller-volume foot without relying on extra length. This is a road-running and walking option. For faster workouts, we would compare a less substantial trainer instead of asking this broad platform to do every job.

Fit before category

Fit & feel

The engineered-mesh upper, ungusseted tongue and redesigned heel give this model an accommodating forefoot with a more structured rearfoot. Check heel lift as well as toe room: extra volume is useful only when your foot stays secure. If you use an orthotic, bring it to the fitting and check the shoe with your normal socks. Compare the listed width before changing length.

We fit shoes against your foot shape, width, comfort, movement and intended use—not just a label like “neutral” or “stability.”

How the shoe works

Technology & ride

Updated PWRRUN foam adds cushioning beneath a straight-lasted platform. The PWRRUN+ sockliner provides another layer underfoot. The redesigned heel and broad base create the structured feel, while engineered mesh lets the upper accommodate the foot.
