David found the usual size roomy enough for walking without moving to a wide width.

Confluence Running
We would start with Atmos 2 for cushioned road mileage and walking when forefoot space matters. The roomy front and secure midfoot make it worth trying if a tapered toe box has felt restrictive, but the right heel hold still matters. This is a neutral daily trainer, so compare Aura 2 if you prefer added guidance. For faster sessions, try Specter beside it and decide which ride suits the day.
Fit before category
The anatomical toe box leaves space across the forefoot while the upper aims to hold the midfoot and heel securely. Recycled engineered mesh provides ventilation over a plush platform. During your fitting, check heel lift, lace pressure and room above the toes; a roomy shape does not guarantee the correct width. Try it with your usual socks and compare available sizes in motion.
We fit shoes against your foot shape, width, comfort, movement and intended use—not just a label like “neutral” or “stability.”
How the shoe works
The updated ZipFoam midsole provides the cushioning, with a 40 mm heel and 35 mm forefoot platform. Recycled engineered mesh forms the upper. A redesigned outsole places rubber in selected zones to balance contact grip and flexibility.
