Why runners choose the Adios Pro 4
This neutral racer balances two layers of LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam with carbon-infused ENERGYRODS 2.0 and an aggressive rocker. The result is a springy, rolling ride built for pace. It is a specialist shoe, rather than a conventional daily trainer or walking model.
Its close-fitting upper and relatively narrow arch hold matter as much as the speed-focused design. Check the exact color and size in the live selector before ordering.
Upper, midsole & outsole
Micro Fit + LIGHTLOCK
Thin, breathable race-focused upper with a secure lacing system and heel hold. This snug design is worth trying with your normal race socks.
LIGHTSTRIKE PRO + ENERGYRODS 2.0
Responsive double-layer cushioning pairs with full-length carbon-infused rods and rocker geometry to support forward transitions.
LIGHTTRAXION + Continental rubber
Lightweight traction material is paired with Continental rubber near toe-off. Built for road surfaces, not technical trails or icy conditions.

Fit & sizing advice
Independent testing finds the Pro 4 close-fitting through the arch and comparatively unstable for runners who need substantial guidance. Length often fits true to size, but the upper feels narrower than the Adios Pro 3. If you are between sizes, have a wide midfoot or have experienced pressure points in racing shoes, compare carefully before checking out.
Confluence Running's specialty staff can help you compare this racer with your current shoes. Bring your preferred running socks when you visit.

Compared with the Pro 3, the Pro 4 changed the upper, midsole and rocker geometry. Compared with the newer Pro 5, the Pro 4 retains its distinctive lively forefoot feel but has a narrower, less forgiving midfoot platform in testing. The best choice comes down to your fit and running mechanics, not the model number.
