COROS PACE History: From 2018 to PACE 4
The PACE name has stayed familiar while the watches have changed. COROS's own timeline places PACE 1 in May 2018, PACE 2 in August 2020, PACE 3 in September 2023 and PACE 4 in November 2025.
Four dated milestones
- May 2018: the first PACE starts the timeline.
- August 2020: PACE 2 follows.
- September 2023: PACE 3 arrives.
- November 2025: PACE 4 adds another generation.
The timeline records release milestones. It does not mean every model appeared at Confluence on those dates, and it does not establish the release date of PACE Pro.
Why a generation matters on a product page
Today, PACE 3 and PACE 4 sit within the same family collection. Their screens differ: PACE 3 uses a transflective display, while PACE 4 uses AMOLED. A familiar name should lead you to a comparison, rather than an assumption about what remained the same.
Keep your own training history useful
Before changing watches, write down the screens, workouts and routes you use most often. Set those up first. Compare a familiar session before adding more fields. An upgrade becomes easier to judge when it serves a routine you already understand.
Keep the former generation's page useful too. It helps an existing owner identify their watch, check an accessory and understand a newer listing. A watch does not lose its identity when the next version arrives.
