Who is the Pursuit 2 for?
The Pursuit 2 is built for trail runners and hikers who prefer Topo's anatomical toe box and zero-drop geometry. It pairs a 31 mm heel and forefoot stack with a ZipFoam midsole, Vibram Megagrip outsole, recycled mesh upper and an FKT insole designed to drain water. The shoe has a roomy toe area without requiring a loose fit through the rest of the foot.
Zero drop means the heel and forefoot are the same height above the ground. That preference is individual: if you usually run in higher-drop shoes, ask a Confluence Running fitter about transitioning gradually rather than assuming zero drop will automatically solve an injury or improve your stride.
Which women's sizes remain?
At the time of the October 8 inventory check, Grey/Mint B-Regular stock was recorded in sizes 7, 7.5, 8.5 and 9.5; sizes 8 and 9 showed no available inventory. Store and online availability can change, so use the live size selector before ordering.
Pursuit 2 versus Pursuit 3: what changed?
Both models preserve the defining Pursuit formula: an anatomical toe box, zero-drop geometry, ZipFoam cushioning and Vibram Megagrip traction. The newer Pursuit 3 adds upper and fit refinements and a built-in gaiter attachment. The Pursuit 2 can be a smart previous-generation value when its available sizes fit you. The Pursuit 3 is worth exploring if you want the newer model or the older size is unavailable.

How does the Pursuit compare with other Topo trail shoes?
